We have been busy during our summer trip back east! We went to Indiana to visit Steve's sisters and brothers, their families, and Nanny! Now we are in Oneonta, enjoying more friends and family, in addition to ice cream and LOTS of pizza! Ava's vocabulary is growing by the day. Some of her latest additions have been "messy", "Elmo", "Hudsey", "whoops" and "Busy busy busy bee". She still loves to give hugs, give "pat pats" on your back and rub noses (her Daddy taught her that). She is a VERY social baby, saying "hi" to everyone and everything. She loves to laugh and make others laugh. We have a friend here in town by the name Darlene. She is Ava's ice cream connection but also has brand new kittens and some horses. We have been making visits to her land to see these animals which is a highlight for Ava. The other day Grandma, Ava and I went to Fly Creek Cider Mill to feed the ducks. Ava LOVED it and so did the ducks (the feeding part that is. The chasing part was a different story).
Behind Bars!

Up to something!!!
